Frequently Asked Questions

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we are currently welcoming new children to our practice! Please click here to request a new patient consultation.

Where are you located?

Our office is located in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

What age range do you accept?

We care for children of all ages, as well as some adults.

Kids tend to get the most out of our program when they have at least some ability to understand & follow simple instructions, for example, "touch your nose"

Do we need a referral?

No, a referral is never required to begin care.

Does my child need a diagnosis to begin care?

No. While a formal diagnosis can be helpful, it is not required to begin care. The BrainCamp program is not designed to treat any specific mental disorder, or to chase down symptoms.

Instead, the focus is on improving your child's level of function, and supporting their progress with an individualized program of holistic therapies and exercises.

How often will my child need to be seen?

Every child is different, and every care plan is unique. However, most children under traditional care will be seen at least once per week initially, and then less frequently over time.

What if regular visits aren't possible?

Repetition and consistency are crucial in order to create lasting improvements in function. When regular care isn't possible, we offer intensives to squeeze months of therapies into just 1-2 weeks, followed by a home care program.

How much does care cost?

We are committed to making care accessible to as many children as possible and strive to keep our rates affordable. Specific fees will vary depending on the type of care your child requires.

Please reach out to us for so that we can discuss your child's needs and provide individual quotes.

Will insurance cover my child's visits?

The services we provide are generally not covered by children's insurance plans, however, we are committed to providing affordable care that is accessible to all families.
