That's the BrainCamp 3-step approach.

We start by understanding how the brain is functioning.

Every child is different.

Two children can have the same diagnosis—or very similar symptoms—and still have very different patterns of brain activity.

That is why we begin with a brain map, also called a QEEG.

The brain map helps us look for patterns such as areas that appear to be working less efficiently than expected, unusually overactive or dysregulated, or poorly coordinated with other brain regions.

It also helps us understand how networks involved in things like attention, sensory processing, communication, emotional regulation, and movement may be functioning.

The goal is not simply to find something “abnormal.”

It is to give us a better picture of where the brain may need support and help guide a more individualized treatment plan.

Then, we give the brain targeted support.

Once we have a better idea of how the brain is functioning, we use laser therapy to stimulate targeted areas of the brain.

Laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to support cellular energy production and other processes involved in brain function and recovery.

We use the brain map to help decide where to stimulate and what we are trying to accomplish.

In some areas, the goal may be to encourage better activation. In others, the goal may be to help regulate an overactive or poorly coordinated network.

The important part is that we are not simply using the same protocol for every child.

We match the stimulation to the pattern we see.

Finally, we train the brain to use those changes.

Stimulation is only part of the process.

The brain also needs opportunities to practice better patterns of function.

One of the main ways we do this is through neurofeedback, which gives the brain real-time feedback about its own activity and helps it practice more efficient, better-regulated patterns.

We may also combine this with sensory, motor, and cognitive training designed around the child’s specific needs.

The goal is simple: combine targeted brain stimulation with active brain training, so the brain is not only being supported—it is being asked to use and reinforce those changes.

We are not just trying to change a brain map.

We want those changes to show up as better function in everyday life.

More Than an Intensive

Our program combines a focused intensive in the clinic with continued therapy at home.

5-Day Intensive

Families begin with a focused 5-day therapy intensive at BrainCamp.

During the intensive, we complete the brain mapping, establish an individualized treatment plan, and combine targeted laser therapy with neurofeedback, sensory-motor work, and other neurological training based on the child’s needs.

This gives us the opportunity to work intensively with the child while also teaching the family how to continue the program at home.

12-Week Home Program

Here's what makes BrainCamp different:

The cost of the intensive includes the laser device your family will use for the 12-week home program.

We show you exactly how to use it, where to apply it, and how to follow your child’s individualized protocol.

That means treatment does not end when the intensive is over.

Families leave BrainCamp with both a plan and the laser device needed to continue it at home.

This allows us to keep supporting the same brain regions and networks over a much longer period of time.

Who is this for?

BrainCamp is for children struggling with areas such as attention, impulsivity, emotional regulation, sensory processing, speech and communication, learning, coordination, developmental delays, social engagement, or recovery from concussion and other neurological injuries.

A diagnosis can be helpful, but it does not tell us everything about how a child’s brain is functioning.

That is why our process starts with the individual child—not just the label.
